The Dead Sea Scrolls

The Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered in 1947 by a Bedouin shepherd boy as he was throwing rocks into caves.

The discovery was made at Qumran, near the Dead Sea.

This discovery validated the Bible’s unchanged wording in thousands of years and silenced textual critics who argued that the original book ended at chapter thirty-nine. When archaeologists examined the scrolls, the complete book of Isaiah was their–all the way to chapter sixty-six.
